The dialogue, line by line
- Besok kita ke pantai naik apa?
How are we getting to the beach tomorrow? - Bisa naik bis, murah tapi lama.
We can take the bus, cheap but slow. - Kalau taksi berapa?
How much is a taxi? - Mahal. Angkot lebih murah, tapi penuh.
Expensive. The minibus is cheaper, but crowded. - Dekat sini ada becak juga.
There are pedicabs near here too. - Becak cuma untuk jarak dekat.
Pedicabs are only for short distances. - Kamu punya sepeda?
Do you have a bicycle? - Punya, tapi jauh sekali kalau naik sepeda.
I do, but it is very far by bicycle. - Kalau ke pulau sebelah naik apa?
How do we get to the next island? - Naik kapal dari pelabuhan, atau perahu kecil.
By ferry from the harbour, or a small boat. - Tiketnya beli di mana?
Where do we buy the tickets? - Di loket pelabuhan. Jangan lupa antre pagi-pagi.
At the harbour ticket counter. Do not forget to queue early. - Kalau naik pesawat lebih cepat?
Is it faster by plane? - Cepat, tapi harus ke bandara dulu dan tiketnya mahal.
Faster, but we would have to get to the airport first, and the ticket is expensive.
