Motor Rusak di Jalan

A Broken Motorbike. A mechanic checks a broken motorbike, explains the fault and fixes it.

The dialogue, line by line

  1. Pak, motor saya rusak di tengah jalan tadi.
    My motorbike broke down in the middle of the road earlier.
  2. Coba saya lihat dulu. Sejak kapan begini?
    Let me take a look first. Since when has it been like this?
  3. Dari kemarin. Bensin masih ada, tapi saya tidak menyadari ada masalah.
    Since yesterday. There is still fuel, but I did not realise there was a problem.
  4. Bagian ini rusak. Saya perlu mengganti komponen ini.
    This part is broken. I need to replace this component.
  5. Berapa lama untuk memperbaiki motor ini?
    How long will it take to repair this motorbike?
  6. Satu jam. Saya siapkan alat dulu.
    One hour. Let me prepare my tools first.
  7. Saya harus membayar berapa?
    How much do I have to pay?
  8. Dua ratus ribu. Bisa bayar besok kalau perlu.
    Two hundred thousand. You can pay tomorrow if needed.
  9. Tidak usah, saya bayar sekarang.
    No need, I will pay now.
  10. Nanti saya pasang bagian baru dan ukur tekanan ban.
    Later I will fit the new part and measure the tyre pressure.
  11. Tolong periksa lampu juga, kadang mati.
    Please check the lights too, they sometimes go out.
  12. Baik. Jangan menunda servis lagi, ya.
    All right. Do not delay the service again.
  13. Janji. Saya akan lebih menjaga motor ini.
    I promise. I will look after this bike better.
  14. Bagus. Kondisi motor bergantung pada perawatannya.
    Good. A motorbike's condition depends on its maintenance.

    It is finished. Try starting the engine.
