Lunch Without Meat. A customer asks which Indonesian dishes are suitable for a meat-free lunch.

The dialogue, line by line

1. Saya tidak makan daging. Ada menu sayur?
   I do not eat meat. Is there a vegetable dish?
2. Ada gado-gado dan soto sayur.
   There is gado-gado and vegetable soto.
3. Gado-gadonya berisi apa?
   What is in the gado-gado?
4. Wortel, bayam, jagung, dan telur rebus.
   Carrots, spinach, corn and boiled egg.
5. Apakah memakai santan?
   Does it use coconut milk?
6. Tidak. Santan dipakai untuk rendang.
   No. Coconut milk is used for rendang.
7. Tolong satu gado-gado dan nasi putih.
   One gado-gado and steamed rice, please.
8. Mau cabai atau lada?
   Would you like chilli or pepper?
9. Lada sedikit saja.
   Just a little pepper.
10. Baik. Rasanya lezat dan tidak terlalu pedas.
    Okay. It is delicious and not too spicy.
