The Key in the Box. A missing key turns up in a box of everyday things.

The dialogue, line by line

Everyday register: casual housemates. People searching together at home use short location phrases and familiar pronouns. Everyday wording appears first; a standard reference is shown underneath when the wording differs.

1. Kunciku di mana?
   Where is my key?
   Standard reference: Kunci saya di mana?
2. Coba cek di atas meja.
   Try looking on the table.
   Standard reference: Coba lihat di atas meja.
3. Nggak ada. Cuma kertas sama pensil.
   It is not there. There is only paper and a pencil.
   Standard reference: Tidak ada. Hanya kertas dan pensil.
4. Ada kotak di lantai.
   There is a box on the floor.
5. Di dalamnya ada sandal.
   There are sandals in the box.
   Standard reference: Di dalam kotak ada sandal.
6. Coba lihat di bawah celana panjang.
   Look under the trousers.
   Standard reference: Lihat di bawah celana panjang.
7. Nah, ketemu! Kuncinya di sini.
   The key is here!
   Standard reference: Kuncinya ada di sini!
8. Oke. Sekarang kita bisa pergi.
   Good. Now we can go.
   Standard reference: Bagus. Sekarang kita bisa pergi.
