Sound Practice in the Mirror. A learner watches mouth position in a mirror while practising Indonesian sounds.

The dialogue, line by line

1. Lihat wajah dan bibir kamu di kaca.
   Look at your face and lips in the mirror.
2. Bibir saya bagaimana untuk bunyi c?
   How should my lips be for the c sound?
3. Buka sedikit. Bunyi c seperti ch dalam bahasa Inggris.
   Open them slightly. The c sounds like ch in English.
4. Sekarang saya coba kata cinta.
   Now I will try the word cinta.
5. Bagus. Sekarang bunyi ny dalam kata nyamuk.
   Good. Now the ny sound in the word nyamuk.
6. Saya mengerti. Lidah menyentuh bagian atas mulut.
   I understand. The tongue touches the roof of the mouth.
7. Sekarang tahan bunyi a selama dua detik.
   Now hold the a sound for two seconds.
8. Sudah. Bunyi saya lebih jelas sekarang.
   Done. My sounds are clearer now.
