Work at the Office or at Home?. Two colleagues compare office and remote work before proposing a compromise.

The dialogue, line by line

1. Menurut kamu, kita mesti kerja di kantor?
   Do you think we have to work at the office?
2. Tidak selalu. Kerja dari rumah juga efektif.
   Not always. Working from home is effective too.
3. Meskipun begitu, rapat langsung lebih jelas.
   Even so, in-person meetings are clearer.
4. Saya sependapat mengenai rapat penting.
   I agree about important meetings.
5. Masalahnya, perjalanan ke kantor sangat lama.
   The problem is that the commute is very long.
6. Oleh karena itu, kita perlu jadwal campuran.
   Therefore, we need a mixed schedule.
7. Misalnya, tiga hari di kantor?
   For example, three days at the office?
8. Tepat. Selain itu, dua hari dari rumah.
   Exactly. In addition, two days from home.
9. Saya akan kirim pendapat ini kepada atasan.
   I will send this opinion to our manager.
10. Baik. Semoga mereka setuju.
    Good. I hope they agree.
