Working from Home. Two colleagues talk about deadlines, working hours and staying sane at home.

The dialogue, line by line

1. Kamu masih kerja dari rumah?
   Are you still working from home?
2. Iya, tiga hari seminggu.
   Yes, three days a week.
3. Enak, ya. Tidak macet.
   That is nice. No traffic.
4. Enak, tapi tenggat waktu tetap sama.
   It is nice, but the deadlines are the same.
5. Atasan kamu mengontrol jam kerja?
   Does your manager monitor your hours?
6. Tidak terlalu. Yang penting hasilnya.
   Not much. What matters is the output.
7. Bawahan kamu bagaimana?
   How about the people who report to you?
8. Mereka juga di rumah. Kami rapat lewat video.
   They are at home too. We meet by video.
9. Kadang saya kecil hati kerja sendirian.
   Sometimes I feel down working alone.
10. Sama. Saya coba keluar jalan tiap sore.
    Same. I try to go out for a walk every afternoon.
11. Teman saya sekarang pengangguran, susah cari kerja.
    My friend is unemployed now, it is hard to find work.
12. Zaman memang berubah cepat.
    Times really are changing fast.
13. Semoga dia cepat menemukan.
    I hope he finds something soon.
14. Amin. Kalau ada lowongan, saya kabari kamu.
    Amen. If I hear of a vacancy, I will let you know.
