Jalan Pagi di Pulau

A Morning Walk on the Island. A visitor follows a local through a garden, forest and hill as the morning sky changes.

The dialogue, line by line

1. Pagi ini cerah. Kita jalan ke taman?
   It is clear this morning. Shall we walk to the park?
2. Ayo. Udara di pulau ini masih sejuk.
   Let's go. The air on this island is still cool.
3. Di samping masjid ada kebun kecil.
   There is a small garden beside the mosque.
4. Daun hijau dan rumput hijau setelah gerimis.
   The leaves and grass are green after the drizzle.
5. Setelah kebun, kita masuk ke hutan.
   After the garden, we enter the forest.
6. Dari bukit, gunung berapi itu terlihat jelas.
   From the hill, the volcano is clearly visible.
7. Tadi saya melihat kilat di daerah utara.
   Earlier I saw lightning in the northern area.
8. Tenang. Musim hujan sudah hampir selesai.
   Relax. The rainy season is almost over.
9. Malam nanti kita bisa melihat bintang.
   Tonight we can see the stars.
