A Busy Day at Home. Two housemates split the chores and plan a small dinner for friends.

The dialogue, line by line

1. Hari ini kita harus membersihkan rumah.
   Today we have to clean the house.
2. Saya mencuci baju, kamu memasak, bagaimana?
   I will wash the clothes, you cook, how about that?
3. Setuju. Tolong bantu saya angkat meja dulu.
   Agreed. Please help me move the table first.
4. Tunggu, biar saya membuka jendela dulu supaya udaranya segar.
   Wait, let me open the window first so the air is fresh.
5. Jangan lupa menutup pintu belakang.
   Do not forget to close the back door.
6. Kamu mau mengundang siapa nanti malam?
   Who do you want to invite tonight?
7. Saya belum memutuskan. Mungkin teman kantor.
   I have not decided yet. Maybe colleagues from work.
8. Coba tulis daftarnya supaya mudah mengingat siapa yang belum pernah datang.
   Try writing a list so it is easy to remember who has not visited before.
9. Saya sering melupakan nama orang baru.
   I often forget the names of new people.
10. Saya menemukan buku resep lama di lemari.
    I found an old recipe book in the cupboard.
11. Bagus, kita coba resep baru malam ini.
    Great, we will try a new recipe tonight.
12. Saya berharap semua orang suka.
    I hope everyone likes it.
13. Saya percaya masakan kamu enak.
    I believe your cooking is good.
14. Memulai sekarang akan memberi kita cukup waktu untuk menyelesaikan semuanya sebelum sore.
    Starting now will give us enough time to finish everything before evening.
