Di Puskesmas Pagi

At the Community Clinic. Registering at a neighbourhood health clinic in polite Indonesian, with queue numbers and basic symptoms.

The story, line by line

1. Pagi-pagi saya pergi ke puskesmas.
   Early in the morning I go to the community clinic.
2. Saya mengambil nomor antrean di meja depan.
   I take a queue number at the front desk.
3. Petugas bertanya, 'Apa keluhannya?'
   The staff member asks, 'What is the complaint?'
4. Saya menjawab, 'Saya demam dan batuk sejak kemarin.'
   I answer, 'I have had a fever and cough since yesterday.'
5. Petugas meminta KTP atau paspor.
   The staff member asks for an ID card or passport.
6. Saya duduk dan menunggu nama saya dipanggil.
   I sit and wait for my name to be called.
7. Dokter memeriksa tenggorokan saya.
   The doctor checks my throat.
8. Saya diberi obat dan diminta istirahat di rumah.
   I am given medicine and asked to rest at home.
