The Kitchen After the Party. Two housemates clean a busy kitchen after cooking for friends.

The dialogue, line by line

1. Tadi saya merebus sayur, menggoreng tempe, dan memanggang ayam.
   Earlier I boiled vegetables, fried tempeh and roasted chicken.
2. Sekarang dapurnya kotor dan lantainya harus disapu.
   Now the kitchen is dirty and the floor needs to be swept.
3. Saya menyapu lantai. Kamu boleh mencuci panci.
   I will sweep the floor. You can wash the pot.
4. Baik. Ada makanan yang harus disimpan?
   Okay. Is there food that needs to be stored?
5. Simpan sayur, tetapi buang saus yang jatuh.
   Store the vegetables, but throw away the sauce that fell.
6. Setelah selesai, saya mau mandi dan istirahat.
   When we finish, I want to shower and rest.
7. Sabunnya habis. Besok kita beli di supermarket dekat mal.
   We are out of soap. Tomorrow we will buy some at the supermarket near the mall.
8. Boleh. Sekalian kita mampir ke pom bensin dalam perjalanan.
   Sure. We can stop at the petrol station on the way.
