Taman atau Tempat Parkir?
A Park or a Car Park?. Two neighbours disagree politely about an empty lot and find an idea they can both support.
The dialogue, line by line
- Menurut saya, tanah kosong itu sebaiknya menjadi taman.
In my opinion, that empty land should become a park. - Pendapat saya berbeda. Kita perlu tempat parkir.
My opinion is different. We need a car park. - Saya berpikir taman lebih penting untuk anak-anak.
I think a park is more important for children. - Mungkin benar, tetapi jalan ini pasti semakin ramai.
That may be true, but this road will certainly get busier. - Alasan kamu jelas, tetapi dua tempat itu tidak sama.
Your reason is clear, but those two places are not the same. - Bagaimana kalau kita membagi tanahnya?
How about dividing the land? - Ide itu serupa dengan rencana lama.
That idea is similar to the old plan. - Benar. Setengah untuk taman dan setengah untuk parkir.
Right. Half for a park and half for parking. - Saya setuju. Kita tidak perlu bilang ide lain salah.
I agree. We do not need to call the other idea wrong. - Bagus. Kita sampaikan pendapat bersama saat rapat.
Good. We will present our shared view at the meeting.
