In My Opinion. Two colleagues disagree politely about a decision and find common ground.

The dialogue, line by line

1. Ngomong-ngomong, bagaimana pendapat kamu soal rencana itu?
   By the way, what is your opinion on that plan?
2. Menurut saya terlalu cepat. Kita perlu waktu lagi.
   In my opinion it is too fast. We need more time.
3. Sepertinya begitu, tapi masalahnya klien sudah menunggu.
   It seems so, but the problem is the client is already waiting.
4. Kayaknya kita bisa kirim sebagian dulu.
   I think we could send part of it first.
5. Saya kurang setuju. Hasilnya jadi kurang bagus.
   I do not quite agree. The result would be poor.
6. Sebetulnya saya sependapat dengan kamu.
   Actually I share your view.
7. Meskipun begitu, kita mesti kasih jawaban hari ini.
   Even so, we have to give an answer today.
8. Selain menunda, ada pilihan lain?
   Besides delaying, is there another option?
9. Misalnya, kita tambah satu orang di tim.
   For example, we could add one person to the team.
10. Itu ide bagus. Mengenai biaya bagaimana?
    That is a good idea. What about the cost?
11. Bukan masalah besar, kecuali dia minta lembur.
    Not a big problem, unless he asks for overtime.
12. Yuk kita tulis keputusan ini sekarang.
    Let us write this decision down now.
13. Setuju. Tolong kirim ke atasan sesudah rapat.
    Agreed. Please send it to the manager after the meeting.
