Helping a Neighbour Move. Helping carry furniture, lending tools and agreeing who does what.

The dialogue, line by line

1. Pak, boleh saya membantu memindahkan lemari?
   May I help you move the wardrobe?
2. Boleh sekali. Berat, saya tidak kuat sendiri.
   Yes please. It is heavy, I cannot manage alone.
3. Kita dorong pelan-pelan, jangan sampai merusak lantai.
   Let us push it slowly, so we do not damage the floor.
4. Hati-hati, ada kaca di sebelah kiri.
   Careful, there is glass on the left.
5. Kita bagi tugas. Saya angkat depan, Bapak belakang.
   Let us split the job. I will lift the front, you take the back.
6. Bapak punya alat? Kalau tidak, saya bisa meminjamkan punya saya.
   Do you have tools? If not, I can lend you mine.
7. Terima kasih. Saya cari obeng dari tadi.
   Thank you. I have been looking for a screwdriver.
8. Ini. Taruh saja di meja kalau sudah selesai.
   Here. Just put it on the table when you are done.
9. Kita ukur pintunya dulu, takut tidak muat.
   Let us measure the door first, in case it does not fit.
10. Betul. Jangan memaksa, nanti pecah.
    Right. Do not force it, it will break.
11. Lewat pintu belakang lebih lebar.
    Through the back door it is wider.
12. Ide bagus. Saya sarankan begitu.
    Good idea. I suggest we do that.
13. Sudah masuk! Kita berhasil.
    It is in! We did it.
14. Terima kasih banyak. Saya berutang budi.
    Thank you so much. I owe you one.
15. Tidak usah. Tetangga memang saling menjaga.
    Not at all. Neighbours look after each other.
