Combine ideas with dan, tapi, karena, kalau, supaya.

How it works

Common connectors: • dan, and • atau, or • tapi / tetapi, but • karena, because • kalau / jika, if • supaya / agar, so that, in order to • walaupun / meskipun, although • sebelum, before • setelah / sesudah, after

Examples

• Saya lelah karena bekerja seharian.
  I'm tired because I worked all day.
• Kalau hujan, kita tinggal di rumah.
  If it rains, we'll stay home.
• Enak tapi mahal.
  Delicious but expensive.
• Saya belajar supaya bisa bicara lancar.
  I study so that I can speak fluently.
